Nancy Drew Audio Books

In May 2002, Random House issued audio tapes of the first books in the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series-- The Secret of the Old Clock and The Tower Treasure. The Nancy Drew audio tape is read by actress Laura Linney, who starred in The Truman Show and You Can Count on Me. She will also be reading the next few releases as well. Actor Bill Irwin reads the Hardy Boys® book.

The editions used for these unabridged audio tapes are the revised text versions, dating from 1959. You can order Nancy Drew audiobooks from any online retailer, local bookstore, or download them from Audible.com.

UPDATED: Holiday 2006 Season: Costo had book and CD sets for books 8, 9, 10, and 12 which featured the yellow flashlight edition of the book and a set of audio CDs by Request Audiobooks.

In March 2006, books 8 and 9 were released on these CD sets by themselves and can be purchased at Amazon.com. Shown at left are the two CD covers for 8 and 9.

August 2007: Random House released the first 4 books on Audio CDs.
