Millie wrote the Dot & Dash series for Cupples & Leon under the pen name of Dorothy West. This series follows the adventures of Dot and her mischievious dog, Dash. Maple Sugar Camp, has some similarities to Millie's grandfather's days spent in Vermont as a child, recollections of tales that Millie's grandfather told her. Shown above are two versions of dust jacket art--the left being the earliest style. The same image was used for all volumes in each style.
